I have lost my mind!!
As some of you know, I've been a hardcore NA guy forever. While I lurk, and occasionally post in this section, getting the most from an all motor setup is what I find fun and challenging... The last time I ran the car, we made a video.
That said, I have sold almost all of my NA LS7 stuff.
Bought an iron 6.0 block and a Forced Inductions T4-76mm turbo. (class rules)
Planning on 370ci
Gonna fill it to the water holes with Hard Block.
Forged rotating assembly
11:1 compression on E98
ARP Head/Main studs
Air 2 Water intercooler
BTR springs and likely get him to grind me a cam too.
It'll have a Pro-Flo intake.
Current plan is to use the 317 heads that came with the 6.0 to see how far I can go, before switching out to some Tooley worked TFS220s
The car is in the chassis shop right now getting a 25.5 cage. Once out, it'll go to paint. I removed the hatch and installed a hardtop. Flared rear quarters.
I'm really hoping to have it together by LSFest. It'll be tight, but my fingers are crossed.
I'll start adding pics as the work progresses...

Start by removing the hatch and the upper part of the tub.
Strip out the engine bay and the interior.
Loaded on the trailer headed to the chassis shop.

Doing a little mock up of stuff.
And the baby turbo... 76/87 1.10 A/R. Probably not the best T4-76 available, but a good starter for me.

Wow! Sub'd!
I haven't been on in a while, but definitely worth logging into here to follow. Selfishly observing for cage setup lol. You haven't lost your mind, just like doing dumb stuff with cars like the rest of us
