8 Sec TTI X Turbo Kit - 1000+RWHP for sale
Hello all FI addicts! (*Update* Engine and Turbo Kit removed and available for sale)
** ENGINE HAS SOLD! TTI X C5 Kit still available **
I'm selling my engine and twin turbo kit. Posting here since I think it will get more traffic
Car is full weight with a.c. has driven over an hour or two+ to the track and ran consistent high 8's and low 9's. Best of 8.8 @ 157mph. Tuned by Dr .Phil.
Twin Turbo kit:
TTi X kit with optional 6265 turbos and 3" downpipes. Kit was installed by Dr. Phil and he setup a custom scavenge pump setup that will be included.
** PRICE DROP *** $5300 - Asking $5800. Local pickup possible.
Engine: (SOLD)
The bottom end oil pressure is slightly low when hot (16lbs) and doesn't go higher than 45lbs when hot. Cold idle oil pressure is 40lbs. Going to take this as an excuse to switch the car up a bit .
Shortblock:
ERL sleeved LS2 block 4 bolt block. Callies 427 cid forged rotating assembly. Currently 429 cid. Approximately 5500 miles on shortblock. Most likely could use new rings, bearings and oil pump for good measure. Engine includes valve covers, oil pan included if purchased with TTI X turbo kit.
Cam Specs: (Morel lifters)
Shortblock was originally purchased used from a forum member. Please see below link:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...hortblock.html

Congrats on the 8 second passes. Was this with a 4L60?
What are your plans for the next combination?

I generally don't post my combos, times, etc on the forums, but since I'm selling the engine and turbo kit I'm posting it now.
Next combo will hopefully go at least as fast and be just as reliable!

Working on getting that for you. It will have to be the beginning of next week as the shop is closed for the weekend.
Thanks, the car has been in the 8's since the end of 2016 using an RPM 4L65E driving at least an hour and a half back and forth from the track (usually) with a best time of 8.77@157.67

bump for ya, so much value in this setup. The upgrades alone are worth 2k+
Even with the smaller turbos this kit makes some serious torq.
With the upgrades I would guess around 1200 + at the tire is attainable without pushing the turbos too hard.
This would make a nice addition to a c5 and I can vouch for the performance. If you have the coin and want to see the world through
a screaming face this is the best value for a serious e ticket ride. Like to hear more about the RPM 65 as I have one as well and it's been holding up very well so far!!!
If any of you east coasters are serious about this kit PM me as I can get it installed and tuned. If you are up north, get Dr. Phil as he tuned my car and tranny and is one of the best!!
boostamuv!!!!

It's being rebuilt now, I'm hopefully (eventually) going to see how much power they can really take... do not want to go to a glide as I drive to the tracks and drive home.
