Mantic triple disc clutch?
Has anyone installed a triple in a C5? Mantic only lists the twin for C5 corvettes and I’m curious as to why?
Is there something different between the C6 and C5?

it's doable but requires a lot of things switched around. Input shaft has to be changed to a c6 and you need a SFI bellhousing to fit it. I have a rps triple for sale that I pulled to go glide that goes right on

hmmm I wish they would have let me know ugh... Anything really expensive or difficult thats all I care about. I know the bellhousing and cost to upgrade to triple what about the rest tho?

Hmmm...so Mantic doesn’t just bolt in. With the extra costs involved, better option would be the Rps triple.
Joe, how did the rps perform for you? Driveability, chatter, slip?

C5 and C6 TT input shaft is interchangable. I know because I have a C6 input shaft in my otherwise factory C5 TT. The couplers and bolts are the same too.
The splines that slide into the clutch disk are longer and not as tapered at the beginning on the C6 but same length, takes the same bearing, and bolts right into a C5 assembly and works perfectly when installed.
The prop shaft is different in length to accommodate the different length TT housing.
I know this because I’ve had several different variations (c5 manual/auto early and late & C6 manual/auto) apart and in pieces.
I bent my c5 input shaft when my clutch exploded and used a c6 input as it was readily available. It works perfectly.

As Joe mentioned, it can be done. Its not that hard. Get a quicktime C6 bellhousing and a input shaft from a C6 and it will all bolt together. Keep in mind this will push your entire drivetrain back about 3/4" though so it will require a little modification at the differential mount and your shifter location will go back that same distance. The shifter position didn't bother me enough to worry about it. But if you were super concerned about it you can cut the shift box off the torque tube and lengthen the shift rod.

I'm going to go with an RPS BC3 that bolts right in with no modifications necessary. Afters speaking with a C7 owner he had the Mantic triple and after one track outing the clutch was done!
He replaced it with an RPS and and loves it. Lots of people rave about the Mantic and it might be a good product, but I haven't seen too many results from the drag strip.
