Default Nitrous bog

2003 C5 Z06: NX Express 78mm Plate System, Running NGK plugs 2 degrees colder, jetted for 50 HP shot, ECS mail order tune, full XS power exhaust

Yesterday it was warm enough to test my system. I am new to nitrous so I wanted to start with a small shot and work my way up to 100-125 HP shot. My NX window switch is set to be active from 3000-6000 RPM. When I would start from a roll with the system armed and go WOT, right when the system would come on there is a slight bog/stop for a split second then it takes off. Then after that as long as I'm WOT it is seemless. It is only on intial HIT that it bog/cutouts for a second. Do I have the window switch set too low? Is this the initial hit from the fuel pressure dropping while the Fuel soleniod is opening?

Do you have a purge solenoid installed? If not you are a spray fuel only while the nitrous is making its way from the bottle to your solenoid.

I would get a purge if you dont have one already. The bog is from the car only getting fuel at first if you aren't purging it. I don't hsve a purge either, I just floor the car for a second before I want to use it and that essentially purges it also.

This is a wet plate system.

I do have a purge. I need to make sure to use it.

As said above, your fuel is hitting the plate first. System needs to be purged so the nitrous is ready to go when the fuel is.

I would recommend that you log it. I am used to seeing N20 hit before fuel in these kits. Using HP Tuners and logging it, it's easy to tell, even if you don't have a wideband. If you don't already own a HP Tuners module, shoot me a PM and I'll get you set up.
