Nitrous Install wiring questions
The weather is going to be cool and I want to get started on installing my NX plate kit. I have gotten most of my quesitons answered on the physical install, but I have a few questions around wiring.
1. For tapping into my current wiring harness for TPS signal, and RPM tach signal; What is the best way to go about doing that? Use a wiretap or something else?
2. What are the proper wires to use for TPS signal and RPM signal? I will be using a NX Express WIndow Switch.
3. Does anyone have pictures of how they wired up the Corvette Switch panel?

I did all my connections in the PCM area. I just soldered in my wires, put a little silicone on them and some tape.
For the tach signal you want pin #10 on the PCM (white wire).
For the TPS signal you want pin #1 on the TAC Modual (dk blue wire). You could also get the TPS signal at the TPS sensor at the T/B, but the TAC Modual is mounted to the PCM so it was easier to get them both there.
I did all my splices at the PCM since it looks cleaner. I think you can also get the tach signal from a coilpak, but nor sure which wire.
If I remember correctly, for the TPS there are two 5v signals a rising and falling. I'm pretty sure I used the rising one. It's been awhile since I messed with it so I may be wrong. This was on a 2004, not sure if there were any changes with other years.

I got everything wired up. TPS/Window Switch from NX Express, should this only come on when the nitrous switch is turned on OR should it turn on anytime the key is on ACC/ON?
Also when I did the TPS setting on the window switch it only read a max of 2.5v with the engine not running. Is that right?
