Gimmick plugs arent a good idea....Especially not with FI. If anything you will want a shorter reach and colder range with a smaller gap due to the higher cyl pressure.

After reading a ton of bad reviews, I ended up throwing them in a draw in my shop. One night the wife came in late from work and told me her ‘98 k1500 was running really rough. I pulled the ac delco plugs to inspect and sure enough they were bad. Parts store was closed for the night as it was pretty late so I had to try the E3’s to hopefully get her back on the road until I could buy the proper plug. Much to my surprise however, she told me the truck was running well and seemed to use less fuel? So I ended up throwing a set in my C4 and my pickup. Have yet to have a problem , I see a noticeable difference in fuel mileage and they have been in there for a good 3 years now. I don’t think it “gained hp/torque “ however seems to be a decent plug.

Just my 2 cents

Joe

if the plugs in the car were bad then I'm sure any new plug would have done a better job and get better fuel mileage since they weren't fouled, just sayin

There have been many new plugs come out over time and none of the last. I remember split fire plugs when I was high school.

Just because they're new, and look weird, doesn't mean they're junk.

Data - it's all that matters.

The real test is how many racers use them who aren't sponcered by them. I'd wager not many. Especially FI

I tried them in my drag motor. Its a turbocharged 565 BBC it wouldn't RPM pass 7000 it started shooting ducks about 6500 it was blowing out the spark. Put a fresh set of autolites in and it cleared up. Think about it like this electricity will ALWAYS take the path of least resistance, so once you get some carbon on them, all that metal on the ground strap is useless. the spark will always hit the same spot. So you end up with a plug with a lot of metal to get in the way of the gas in the cyl hitting the spark. I wouldn't put them in my lawn mower. I stand by what i said above they are junk. But thats my option.

And that is data that’s helpful.
Thanks.
