Recent Dyno and 1/2 mile runway pull!!
So I know I've been a bit scarce in this section for a while, my apologies, but I do want to let you guys know that the C5 is up and running again!! I was chasing down a miss and bog issue for a few months in the beginning of this year, then determined it was a little down on compression, so we pulled the motor after 7 hard years of service...
I had QMP racing do the rebuild, fresh stroked 416 LS3, since their last motor did pretty darn good! They drilled oil piston squirters into the block, and we went with Johnson short travel self oiling lifters as well as a few other goodies...
The car took the usual blood sweat and tears to get everything dialed in again, but she performed quite nicely at a half mile runway shoot this past weekend, here's the video!!
Here's another link to the video:
I also picked up a 17 Z06 almost 2 years ago. I've got Bolt ons only with that car. Here's another video that has one half mile run from both cars, I hit shift-Sector a few weeks ago with the C7...

Safety Car
Good to see your car going strong again Joel.
One note as a safety, theres alot of seat movement in your shifts.
