It was already on the car or I would have went with a stronger clutch.

No, Iíve seen them handle 600 depending on tires and the driver but it is definitely one of the weak links in the combo. I donít beat on my cars so we will see how long it lasts.

So this is a stock head car? And not meth? Correct?
If so BlownblueZO6 did a fantastic job. Great HP numbers.

At 12psi, the cylinder pressure is way higher than it could have ever gotten N/A. You can tell future buyers you didn't beat on it, but this is C5 FI. Most of us understand what is happening inside the cylinder.

Yes you are correct on both accounts.
Thank you, I think he did a great job as well.

They are 18’s up front and 19’s in the rear(305/30/19’s).

Isn’t that the entire purpose of boosting a car?
I was just simply trying to state that the car will not be raced and most likely won't even hit 12psi very often with the way I drive.

This is the most nonsensical thing ive read all day.. You boost the **** out of your car just enough so you're not able to reliably use it's powerband?

Who said anything about not being able to reliably use the powerband?
I put maybe 1,000-2,000 miles on my car a year and live in an area that has tons of construction and constant traffic.
This car was built to enjoy as a weekend cruiser.

Nice results, I have the same exact car and combo with the addition of Meth injection. My car made 651/761 through the stock Ti exhaust. One thing I will note is I recently installed the Corsa xtreme exhaust and and the car lost a ton of low-end power. I don't have any dyno numbers but it was a very noticable change. I ended up putting the stock Ti exhaust back on and low-end came back. Also, that combo with the Corsa xtreme was just too damn loud for me. Drew way too much attention as well.
Car has been a blast to drive and I beat on it everytime I drive it. I know there is a chance of the engine letting go but, if it goes it goes.

nice job. I completely understand why you modded your car with a supercharger. I bought the same kit and just took it to a shop to have it installed and tuned. my car made 470 rwhp on a mustang dyno before the kit installation. I am going with the 3.8 standard kit pulley install. I will be happy with 600rwhp but it will probably make more. I have ported heads and n/a cam at 600 lift/ kooks longtubes and corsa catback exhausts/fast92 intake and ls2 tb.. My car will never see the track and also modded for pure enjoyment. I also drive it around 1000 miles a year or less. I have had it 3 years and put 1000 miles in that time. I just want the power available. nothing else. Love your car and enjoy your ride.

I got this pic from Bret last week. Thought it was a cool pic. My car is in the background and I think you know the blue car _zebra. Working into the night over at Bret's it seems.

a couple things we're doing definitely had him scratching his nugget for a minute, but it sound like it's turning out pretty good & i know he pours his heart and soul into everything that goes through that gate.

He works hard at it for sure. I am local in the DFW area and had to go over to his place a couple times. I have seen them working on your car. Its definitely making progress.

I actually went from TI's to Corsa Extreme and I absolutely love the sound difference!
It really brings out the lope of the the cam in the car.
Sounds like you have a very nice car, post up or pm me some pictures if you get a chance.

600 was my goal as well but your car will probably make more than that.
Might want to consider changing the balancer, if you have not already done so.
Hope you ditched the boost-a-pump as well.
I feel the exact same way, just wanted the power on command.
Appreciate the compliments, keep us posted on how yours turns out.

LOL, no worries...I actually went and helped put the kit on my car and as soon as we finished my car, your car got immediately worked on.
Your build looks very unique.

yeah, i was fully aware of other cars getting stuff in the midst of mine & why.
and thanks. i've tried to make it my own in a lot of ways over the years - from the paint job i envisioned before buying a C5 to the blower everybody dogs on because they like vertical HP graphs. to be honest, the majority of my work's been beefing everything else up to match (clutch, driveshaft, trans, cooling), and Bret's been awesome about it all, especially in dealing with suppliers who fell through or didn't know key bits of info about how to make their product work on a C5.

enjoy that animal you got!
