Default RSI Double w/ Walboro 525

Just have to crimp the fuel level sender wires, install the prefilters and pop it in.

RSI just released them, they ship with Walboro 450s or 525s. Order from Brett Bradbury for quick shipping and the best install support you could possibly ask for.

Just got my Corvette Creationz carbon fiber flared front fenders to replace my heavily worn(also have a 5" hole in the passenger fender from former downpipe exit) OEM fenders and I am fairly disappointed with how they arrived. There was zero damage to the box they were shipped in so I'm assuming this damage occurred during packaging or storage. I'm not blaming Pete as I know he uses Extreme Dimensions for production and everything ships from them but I was planning on running these in exposed carbon and it looks as though I'll need to get them painted. Again, the overall quality is fine but the damage to the finish is the only thing I am upset about; I went through very similar issues when I ordered my hood so I guess I should have learned from that experience.

Hmm.. If you have a realllllyyyyy good body guy, that may be fixable depending on the scratch depth. Pete also may be able to get you a replacement pretty quick..

Do the pump filters fold under the pumps and towards the back of the tank??

In my opinion, I shouldn't have to be fixing brand new fenders.

Yes, really unhappy about that.

Agreed, 100%.

Sounds good. How is the unit comparing to the original? I thought I remember you buying the original used so you had some issues with it.

It is night and day difference compared to their original hanger. The electrical connector is hermetically sealed which is where all my issues with the original hanger originated from. It appears to be very well made and install should be incredibly simple. I also appreciate that they supplied the mating connectors for the fuel level sender and fuel pump power/ground wires. Overall I am very happy with the appearance of this hanger and now I just need to get it installed, fill it with E85 and make sure I don't have any fuel leaks.

Nice. Good to hear. I just had Bret modify my factory hanger and mount a 450 to it.

I was going to go the same route but the day I contacted him about shipping my tank he told me about this revised hanger and said it would save me time and shipping money.

Demand your money back on those fenders. Complete bullshit a company can send crap like that out the door. Might not be “pete’s“ fault, but it’s the company he chooses to use as a supplier. So, yeh, it’s his fault.

I'm talking to him about it now. The issue is that these were the last set of carbon fenders he had and the reason I didn't go with FRP is because I didn't want to spend money to paint them and I don't mind the look of exposed carbon. Hopefully we can come to some sort of resolution that keeps me from having to buy and wait for another set of fenders to be made.

Hey Mitch, I can help you with properly repairing that if you don't want to paint them. give me a call and I'll go over it with you.
