Borg Warner S300 66mm turbo question
I’ve got a new borg Warner s300 66mm .91 ar t4 twin scroll , I’m trying to decide to get another one and run twin rear mount or can this one be turned into a 76 with the 177207 housing and would also need the matching wheel and run a single. Anyone know if it can be done ?ive searched for days and haven’t gotten a definitive answer. Even emailed a few places .

I don’t know the answer to your question, but I’ve got a nice 76mm Borg unit for sale. If you decide to go with a single.

Melting Slicks
No 300's can get to a 76mm inducer on the compressor which is the number most refer to when talking about turbos.
That turbine housing you refer to is for the smaller 76/68mm turbine wheel
The 366 uses the larger 80/73mm turbine wheel already

Burning Brakes
I run 2 s252s with an STS setup which were an upgrade buy the PO [Long]
THese are a bit big for a street rearmount as there is an aprciable lag. Once spooled they do great but Im only running #10
So depending on your goals 2 S300s may be a bit much.

I've seen the s366 put down almost 600rw on a ls1 with a cam. It was almost maxed out. A little pre turbo meth would increase the efficiency of that turbo as well.
