Belt slippage and carbinite coating
i just recently ordered a TiV1 to replace my SiV3. i went down to a 3.25 pulley on it. I am stilling waiting for it to ship out but i was wondering if im going to have to worry about a lot of belt slippage with the smaller pulley? i noticed i had some belt "dust" on my last setup from which i suspect was the belt slipping, so thought going to a 3.25 may be worse. i'm not in the position to go with an 8 rib setup at this point of time so i was looking into alternative ideas and came across carbinite coating. Has anyone had the coating applied? Or am i just overthinking it and ill be fine?

I ran a 3.25" 6-rib pulley on my Novi 1500 for years with zero belt slip. I wouldn't be worried as long as you have an aligned system and a decent belt. Belt dust could be caused by an alignment issue too.
