Default C5 rear shock C6Z-B6-B8-QA1/Silver's Coilovers

Hi racers,

just want minimize whell hop risk on drag race

1 - what's your opinion and experience about upgrading C5 rear shockhere ? (10 options listed)
2 - Did somebody use cheap Silver's Corvette C5 & C6 Coilovers ?

Car : C5 FI stroker (1000rwhp) with c6z06 trans/diff

Tires :
- 345/19 Michelin semi-slick Super Cup 2 for the street
- 26" ET STREET was for the strip
- 28" M/T is now for the strip
- 295 R888 will be for the track
Actualy : Z51 original stock, 76500 miles

Use :
- Past : 80% street, 20% strip (was running 11s on 1/4m)
- Now : 99% street, 1% strip (has hit 10.3s and rules changed : no run Under 12s w/o roll cage :-( )
- Futur : 90% street, 9% track, 1% strip

#Question : What will be the best bang for the buck

Note 1 : Don't want to break another trans/diff (trans output shaft on my original stock T56/1 rib diff, now it's full C6Z)
Note 2 : Dont want to spent huge money for (2020 plan is to build another 100% strip car and keep this one as a daily)
Note 3 : As i don't live in US, price is about 3x/4x her

1) $187 : C6 Z06 (ACDELCO 540203 - 10318361, 25819268)
2) $223 : C6 Z06 (ACDELCO 540427 - 25838021)
3) $318 : BILSTEIN 24029766 B6 Performance
4) $327 : BILSTEIN 24029780 B8 Performance PLUS
5) $412 : QA1 Stocker Star Shocks C5 Corvette (10.88")
6) $441 : QA1 Stocker Star Shocks C5 Corvette (11.13")
7) $563 : QA1 Single Adjustable Stocker Star C5 (12")
8) $862 : QA1 Double Adjustable Stocker Star C5/C6 (12.8")
9) $996 : QA1 Double Adjustable Stocker Star C5/C6 (12")
10) #1300$ : full coil over (front and rear) : Silver's Corvette C5 & C6 Coilovers

run the rear T bar that better braces the rear tranny mount and limits flex that leads to wheel hop
run the ecs tranny brace to reduce flex, and I'd recommend a full slick with a big sidewall for a more forgiving launch

I gave up and went automatic, and I would do it again

There is no T brace for the c6z trans/diff.

OP, look into viking coilovers or go with the bilstein C6Z shocks.
