Default Shooting for the 8's with an A&A Ysi-B kit!

After building a N/A 10 second C5 (402 LS2, CNC 799's, Fast 92, headers,Yank converter, Performabuilt 4L60e, RPM diff with 3.42 etc.) then doing a ride along on Drag Week last year I got the itch for an 8 second ride. I sold the N/A car and picked up a roller that should be a good starting point for the project ( Certified cage, Holley Dominator ECU, Race Pack Dash, Level 5 RPM 4l80e and Level 5 RPM C6Z rear diff, LG coilovers on all 4 corners,) the Holley 12-1800 fuel pump that is on the car is my only concern but i am going to see how it does.

The machine shop started on the engine this week and I should have it ready to drop in the car at the end of the month. If everything goes as plans and I get enough testing and tuning time I plan on running Drag Week this year.

Engine Specs

377 ci
Dart LS Next Pro block
Dart LS3 6 bolt heads
Custom ground roller
Fast LSXr 102 intake
Dual keyway 4340 crank
Manley Boost Rods
Wiesco blower pistons
2 inch ARH headers & X pipe

A&A Ysi-B kit with secondary drive & 10 rib upgrade
E85 fuel system

I will update as things start going together.

New project

Old project

Why the fast intake? I would think a metal intake like the BTR would be the better option at that level, especially with a reliability test like drag week in the plans

1. I think BTR only does one for a cathedral port at this time & I'm running the square port LS3 head.

2.The older Fast intake had issues with boost but the newer LSXr intakes have held up OK in several boosted applications that it know of.

3. I already had one in the garage

Is it the stepped one that will clear the cowl on a Vette?

Ditched the Holley pump & bought the Aeromotive 3.5 gear pump. Changing the setup and going E85 vs 93 & meth.

why not use a larger pipe on the blower intake instead of the a&a dongle?

Understandable. I just noticed you had a cut down radiator, so you could fit a 4" pipe on there and run a couple extra lbs.

Update

Got everything running on a base tune, had the cage certified this weekend & did a couple of light pulls to 6000. It feels pretty sporty even turned way down.

Now to drive it for a few days, change the oil then put it on the dyno.
