Need some help here. I just finished my ECS kit, swapping cam to a cam motion centrifugal cam. 228/244 .621/.605 on a 116. i also installed a secondary fuel pump set to come on at 4 psi via a hobbs switch. Got a base tune from a very reputable tuner in Texas, 2 bar sd tune.

I made sure the cam and crank dots lined up and rechecked after 2 revolutions. Reinstalled everything to include the s/c kit and installed a new cam sensor. On the first key check the passenger rail pushed 2 of the new injectors out of the rail. Reseated and checked till no leak was noted.

Tried to start and the cranking over is really slow and it eventually backfired and ran a couple seconds then died. When I push on the gas pedal to clear the fuel out it started but I have to feather the throttle, then eventually just dies. It runs crappy! It is only running on 3 cylinders, only 1 and 2 header tubes are hot, 6 is just a little warm. The motor spins over faster with the throttle open too.

I checked codes and only got a p0103 for maf but it should since its tuned out. Today I went back and disconnected the secondary fuel pump, same issue. I swapped coils side to side, same issue. talked with the guy helping me to make sure we installed all the grounds and such. Monday I will go back and double check the pushrod length just to make sure its not hanging valves open or not enough.

I have a log file from HP tuners but I didnt reconfig my channels on my new computer first. i will attach it anyway.

Anyone got anything?

Your MAP shows values that are not expected.

Remove MAP PID from the scanner and add 2 Bar MAP instead. Remove MAF PID from the scanner.

Add also more PIDs to your logs.

 

I added more PIDs. I cant get back into the base auto hobby shop till Monday.

 

Fixed. Pushrods were not seated in the lifters. Triple checked length again and carefully reinstalled all the pushrods.
