After a loooong winter, and alot of waiting for all parts to arrive for my update, everything is now together and here is first result :-)

632 rwhp and 733 rwtq

Boost is aprox 9-10 psi, both hp and torque is flat and nice, very broad power
band, i dont have dyno # here, but as i recall i made more than 530 hp at 3800 rpm.

There should be more w/tuning because i am running rich, between 10:1
and 11:1 and i get knock ?????
7-8 degrees of timing was pulled out, and LPE timing is conservative, so i end up with less than 16 degrees timing,

It is totally crazy to drive, with a stall that turned out to be closer to
3500 than 2600 (what i ordered) it is impossible to go WOT
at any speed below 100 mph.

I will have to change the converter, because i dont feel it is a street car anymore, it helps with manual lock up switch, i can force it to lock up and
then its not so bad,,,, but i want to drive, not switch buttons all the time :-)

First street race 1/8 mile is this sunday i will let you know how it goes.

The prosess of upgrading from stage 1.5+ to a stage IV was longer and more painfull than i imagined.
Not the work itself, but delay in delivery, people promise more than they can
deliver, on top of everything my trans went bad after only 40 miles.
A bushing wwent loose and blocked oil return and it gutted out oil, all oil
within minutes.
Trans is Level IV from Chuck, i dont say this to put his work down, mishaps happen, it is just so dam bad luck when you live 7000 miles away :-(
Chuck helped out, we fixed the problem and i after a few days i was back on the road again (anyone need a mechanic? i can remove trans in three hours :-)


I have got one big worry, one turbo makes a funny noise, and engine sucks in oil when i let off gas, after a hard WOT run.
I hope i can swap them in new ones with LPE later this summer.

Race season is too close and i want to spank a few fast street cars during this summer
Actually a few of them is far from street cars, but they have licence plate

Congratulations Rune, the numbers look good! hopefully the turbo problem isn't too big of an issue, and we can get you a new one soon.

Hi Ed, Race went bad, i lost in semifinal to a 700 cui Ford Granada :eek:

But the race was a farse, it pured down and on slicks it was quite exciting
to see how much trootle you could give without going sideways :-)

My best run was with a "good" 2.678 60 foot :) ET and trap was
8.687 and 101 mph.

Car runs strong, but i really need to update my turbos, after all it
is one of the first cars you built, car #6.

It is leaking to intake and into exhaust and the vastgate on drivers side
is quite noisy and leaking out the axle.

So let me know how we can swap em out or upgrade/overhaul them :cheers:

Let me see what I can do about getting you some new turbo's. I know you can't have the car apart this time of year, so let me see what we can do. I will e-mail you later today.

By the way, do you know anybody in Sweden that has a TechII ? I have another customer that needs to do a crankshaft learn procedure, and he can't find one near him.
Let me know if you know of anybody.

Search on Ls1tech.com. in the past i read about crankshaft learn procedyre
that can be performed without Tech II (i think..... i did )

Later after my boys footballmach i will search also
