Default Modern Day Muscle Cars and EATRICE 346CID 900HP

Today we fired up our Z450 stage 4 package which is close to my old package in my blue Z that made 730 RWHP on PUMP 93 gas and 778RWHP on RACE FUEL 103 octain with a D-1 SC 13 psi of boost on our forged 346 short block with a stock 6 rib. Forum member Eatrice has our F1R Prochager kit with our single intercooler kit on our stage 4 346 short block we are looking for 800 + RWHP with 15 psi. We will be at the dyno tonight.

Sounds pretty sweet. What does your 'Stage 4' short-block consist of? I'm curious why you are staying with a 6 rib instead of an 8 rib with all that power?. Are your ProCharger kits similar to A&A and ECS ?

Cheers,

Mark

I have been waiting for you to post up on this. Sounds like somebody is putting the SC at the level it should be at. I am sure now some can see what a 427cid with a S/C should be at. Especially since you are managing so much out of a little ole 346cid. Good Job and nice for being on the leading edge.

The dyno session will be in the morning I had to drive the car to TN today get get miles on it. So we will see what it can do.

ShonobZ we are just getting started we hope to get over 900RWHP out of this setup with the 19 psi pulley but who knows our limit before was 778RWHP only time and money will tell.

93 Polo do you have a question for me if so I hope to see you tonight at Tom Jumper

OK UPDATE the blower pulley slipped at 5800 rpms so we have new pulley coming in the morning forget about the 900 hp it did 890 Flywheel hp at 5,800 rpms and the cam goes to 6800, the RWHP number was 757RWHP and 667RWT @ 5,800 with 14.5 psi. We will get a new belt and the new pully in the morning and let you know.

Congrats!

Could you describe your belt/tensioner/pulley setup a bit more?
What brand belt are you using?
Tensioner?
Are you using a Reichard Racing style pulley?

Thanks.

Stock 8 rib pulley, stock everything else on the setup for the blower brackets, nothing special needed.

Optic, here is a news flash for you. Everything (expect the head unit)that ATI produces is complete junk and you can't make any power with it

Wait, I guess you have made good power with it and backed it up with track #s.

There goes that theory out the window.

Sorry, I'm just being facetious to give all the ATI haters from that other thread (new ATI setup) hell.

If this thing is making those numbers at 5,800 it is going to be insane at 6700.

ATI haters well if anyone would like to take a stab at any of the numbers we make with a maganason they are more than welcome I know your kidding. We built this car for EATRAICE with my same setup except for the F1R mine went 9's @ 142mph with 730 RWHP so this should get the job done with right at or over 800 RWHP just letting the public know once again you just dont need all the "special blower" things to make this happen, but you do need the
CUBIC DOLLAR. The pulley just came in so we will be on the dyno at 1:30.
