How to change oil life back to 100%.

Easiest way is to turn the ignition switch to ON without starting the engine and then press on the accelerator pedal three times. The other way is to bring oil life up on the DIC and hold Reset until it sets back to 100%.

...or as stated in the Owner's Manual:
How to Reset the "Oil Life" indicator
After an oil change, you need to reset the oil life indicator so that you know when the next change is due. Here is how to do that:
1) Turn the ignition on, but make sure the engine is off.
2) Press the "Trip" button on the DIC so that it displays "OIL LIFE" percentage.
3) Press and hold the "Reset" button for two seconds. "OIL LIFE REMAIN 100%" should appear on the display.
Either way should work fine.

When to change ?
I usually change at 4 - 5000 miles. I have 1000 since i purchased the Vette and the oil life is showing 70%. At what percent do they reccommend a change? Thanks Duds

I usually change oil around 50% life. For me this is around 7,000 miles or about 3 times a year.
Change oil at least once a year regardless of mileage.
I just use 5W-30 Mobile One as specified in the Owner's Manual.

I usually change mine at about 40-45% life remaining. That comes out to about 4500 miles or so between changes.
