transmission issues
everyone out there who took the time to respond to my queries....... thanks a million!! the machine had a transmission failure that the mechanic (trusted) says was due to the last owners handling of the car( ?) no mods on the engine and very clean in/out. engine checks out ok but i had all these things checked out by a mechanic b4 i bought the car! repairs are at 2500.00 and this,according to the mechanic (transmission specialist) says that its labor and know how im paying for (uh huh).should have in a few days. i bought it from a private party so no real recourse,but lifes a crapshoot any way,aint it ? thanks again everyone,for all your help,and what a great community! glad to be a small part!!

At least the mystery is solved, let him get it fixed up good for you so you can get behind the wheel again. Thanks for following up on your original post - we like to hear what the outcomes are for problems.

I used to like to watch Kevin (and crew) rule the Garden when I was in Boston - not sure I like him as much as a coach. I guess as long as Sprewell can feed his kids, all is good?
