I have owned an early 99 HardTop since new. I really would like the auto-lock feature, but this car never had it listed among the options when I scroll the d.i.c., so just assumed that because it was an early
car, I was stuck without it.
Is it possible that it is really in there, and the dealer can re-program
the BCM to allow this feature to work?

Auto locks only came on 97-98 cars. The other years 99-04 are totally different animals.
