Well, its official, I am going to be looking for a Z06 as soon as I can sell my 97 Coupe...

I have been talking about it on here for several weeks, but now have my 97 in every sales ad known to man.

My thoughts for doing this:

1.) RIght now I am single and can afford the increase in payment.
2.) I love the C5 Body and absolutely hate the C6
3.) The Z06's from here on out will be untouchable to me ($80k!?!?)
4.) This is literally they only time in my entire life that I will be able to do this, once I get married with kids, it will be impossible, the C5's are gone, no more made, and with the new Z's costing obscene amounts of money, I will never want or be able to buy another Z again. And who wants to buy a 20 year old Z06 with lots of miles on it?
5.) The Z's are low mileage now, which I want, in a few years, even if I wanted and could buy one, they would be much higher mileage since there are no new ones being made
6.) I only live once, I love the Z,
7.) Being a Vette owner makes me genuinely Happy, I love my 97 Coupe, the only reason I will get rid of it, is to buy a newer faster C5, with far less miles, so that I may keep it an extra 7 years over my current.

If you are going to do it make sure you know what you want and get the job done! Don't be in a hurry! Take your time and good luck!

Yeah, going to take my time, not in a hurry at all.

My order is pretty stiff, probably wont find it quick, if at all:

2003, EB Z with <5000 miles, chrome rims, BSM, and Mod Red interior

Yes, exactly that... if I am going to spend that much money on a car, I might as well get what I want...

Uh oh... check out what I just found:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ist=196#vdptop

No mod red, but the rest is there, 6000 miles on a 2002, not too shabby.... the ad must have just come out today, cuz I've been searching multiple times a day... its only 190 miles away from my house... which is another plus... Mod red was really only a nicety to have.. the musts were the chrome and the BSM... and its in CA... hmmmm this might be the one... too bad its 3:30 am in CA right now, I want to drive up there right now to see it!!!!

Only problem is that I havn't sold mine yet, but i would have 90 days on the loan from the credit union... I wonder if I should wait or if I should risk being able to sell my other car in 90 days or less? Hmmm
