While I was cleaning the 3 state variety of bugs I accumulated on my trip to Bowling Green last weekend I was thinking of something I could put on the front end to make the job a little easier, other than a bra. I had heard of people spraying Pam on the front to ease in the cleaning. While I don't mind just plain elbow grease when I'm home I am going to Amarillo this weekend for a car show and I'm sure I'll have enough detailing to do when I get there other than cleaning bugs. Any ideas from the experts?

Before the trip, just go to the store and buy some shelf CONTACT paper (clear) cut some sheets and stick it on your well waxed problem areas. Once you get to your destination, pull them off and trash'em. It's the cheap man's Cleartastic. Doesnt look so good on, but it about protection for the road...

Thats an idea. Have you tried it? Does it stick as good as Cleartastic without leaving a film when you pull it off?
