Default Air conditioner drain

On my 2000 vert, the A/C evaporator condensation is dripping from under the dash on the passanger side. The service manual shows a drain hose to the right of the accumulator on the firewall. The only hose I have been able to find is behind the battery, on the laft side of the accumulator and it appears to be clear. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the fix. Thanks

I don't have the problem, but I believe the hose you're looking for has a 90 degree bend in it, is about 3" long, and has a pinched tip. Is that the one you're talking about? I may even have a pic of it around. will look...

The drain is tough to see unless you lift the car. It is a plastic elbow and the tip seems to get clogged. If you can't fix it you should take it to the dealer as the water will drip into the electronics under the passenger footwell and really mess things up. Do a search as there have been several threads with pictures of this problem..HTH
