I don't know seems like you could just remove them clean them and spray them with ceramic high-temp paint for about 5 bucks. Is it looks or effect we're after here?
I kind of like them. Obviously for looks, but "you send me your old caliper brackets and I will send you back ceramic coated ones, for $150.00 " ...shouldn't it be the other way around?
Lets see how long it takes you to sand them down. There is alot of prep work involved to get them to look the way they do. Yes I understand ceramic coatings on the brackets does nothing for performance, but it does look good on the car. And they will not rust or flake like paint will.
