Quad oval Stinger's made it by Brown as hoped. The install is Friday if the weather cooperates. I've seen a lot of pic's from the rear with these on. I can't get a good feel because of the angles of the pictures. I'm curious how much you see of the pipes and/or mufflers and if it is worth the hassle to attempt a polish job on them before the installation.

You're going to love them. I didn't mess with trying to polish them before installation, but I do give them a little extra attention each time I wash the car.

I've got a day to blow tomorrow. I might go at them if it's worth it. How much do you see hanging down?

Very little of the mufflers. Make sure you can get the rear up at least 38" if you want to remove the stock pipes intact. If you don't care about that you can cut the right one and remove quicker. You will see what I mean when you get under there.

Don't know your location, but I took mine to one of the local muffler shops and had them mounted for a lil over $100.00. IMO It is worth it, to get it right the first time. In case things go wrong. You can cut the old ones off with a saws-all, you have to drop the rear sway bar to slide them out, but to mount them it's best to wield them back on.
My $0.02
They ARE noticable, so if you have the time, get some sst polish and go to it! Ed (Patches) polished his when he had them and they came out looking great.

I like the high and tight, because I was backing into a parking spot and went a lil to far and the bottoms of the Borlas scrapped the sidewalk and got my attention. Luckily they were high or could have done damage.. my $0.02

I went for the oval, because it fits in with the shape of the rear.
I didn't go for the mufflers being exposed because I didn't want to back into a spot and rip them off. A nice clean look with them tucked under just like the stock ones it came with. Exposed would make them look like those "zoomies" with the mufflers looking like big chrome fire extinguishers..
