C5 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Definitely lots of variations in offsets, on C5 CCW wheels. The 19x10 SP500's on the front of my car are +57, with 7.75" backspace, and the rear 19x11's, are +54 with 8.150" backspace.

Back in 2013 when I ordered my 19's I requested another 1/4" of backspacing to get a tighter fitment & mine were 10 & 11" with 2" lips & 8" & 8.650 backspacing, I ordered my 20's with the same backspacing.

Really wish my rear 19x11's had that much backspacing. If I did, it would be easier to squeeze a narrow 325/30/19 under the car. Now, it's looking like a 305 might even poke a little.

So what’s the difference between offset and backspacing and how do they affect the figment? Which is more important? Is there a good place to get that information or would CCW help with that?

Another way which is how I came up with my offsets/backspacing is using the front spacing, I originally used my stock tires & rims & I was running neg 1/2 degree of camber, set the car at ride height, I spaced the tire & rim out till they were flush to the body & took that measurement from the tire sidewall to the rotor mounting surface & subtracted that from the overall rim width & was dealing with John at CCW at the time, told him that was the spec I wanted, & that is what I got.

That's interesting. So what are the specs on the stock (OEM) Z06 wheels? And if I wanted aftermarket wheels (like Forgestars) but didn't want the aggressive stance (i.e. tires poking outside the fenders), what would I ask for in custom wheels if the fronts were 18x9.5' and the rears were 19x11? I've seen some aftermarket wheels (Cray and Forgestars) that say they have correct C5 fitment but they all seem to have the tire poke with +50 front and +55 rear offsets. Just looking for the right "look" when I get new wheels. I know CCW can figure that out but didn't want to expend that much on wheels.
Thanks!
Thanks!
On a 9.5" rim stock 54 is ok but a 57mm gives you 1/8" more backspacing than stock Z06 front, a 11" rim 65mm is about the same as a stock Z06 so if you want a little more backspacing you would increase your offsets.
