No. I have had my 2 1/2lb Chrome Halotron bottle there for several years. I got it from a forum member by the name of C5Dan and it is the Vetteworks unit. I particularly like it because you can remove it very easily if you want to, and it does not require wrenches, etc to do so. Also very easy to reach in case of emergencies. HTH

I have a coupe, and used the mount that connects to the front seat bolts, mounted it in front of the passenger seat. So far has not been a problem, we just finished a 3000 mile trip to Nashville where we joined the Hot Rod Power Tour and went on to Florida with them and the fire extinguisher was never a problem.

You might try what I did, A bucket of water and a wire tie. ....The sloshing gets annoying though...

Water isn't good for a fuel fire, I think I'll try a bucket of sand.

When you've got burning grass jummed under your headers, I'm not sure how dumping sand on it will help.
