IMHO, sounds a little pricy, I got my black 02 coupe a year ago with chromed rims with 20,000 miles on it for $30K. I dont' think the rims will hurt the value, maybe in 35 years from now, but not today.
I'd think more like $35K is realistic if it were me.......but it's not me.

Best place to check is kbb.com, that will give a good indication of what they're going for in your area. Big difference also if this is a private party or dealer.

I agree. $34k or $35k is the going rate for pristine 02 verts with those miles.
get the best price you can but if it's what you want get it. As time goes on low mileage C5's are going to be hard to find. Get it and don't worry about a few thousand $'s. Lifes short and you deserve it.

Sounds high for an '02, but many factors play into the price including the location of the car. Have your friend offer less and see what the owner says.
