Default Z06 Screens

I'm thinking about putting Z06 screens on my C5, only question I have is does it make my PIAA fog lights useless?

Nope, doesn't hinder the lights at all. You won't even notice the covers are on. At least, I didn't.

For what good the stock fog lights are anyway.

I have PIAA 1100X not stock. I seldom use my headlights as the PIAAs are much brighter.

If you have stock fog lights they're pretty much only useful as a 2nd set of driving/courtesy lights so it wouldn't matter

Even if you're not stock I don't think the screens hinder the lights much/at all - or so I've read here on the forum.

Maybe someone with PIAAs and Z06 screens will chime in

Well, its kinda like shining a flashlight between your fingers. Some of the light gets through, some doesn't. It will cut down the light some, but the PIAA are so bright I doubt you will really see the difference. I bet you'll get 75%-90% of the light through, but it will be scattered a bit by the mesh.

No problem, just cut holes in the screens to let the beam through!

Your fogs will shine just fine though the screens.
