How are they working out for you?
Has anyone had to replace one due to diode failure?
Any "gotcha's" you've discovered since installing them?
Can this mod bug ever be satisfied?!?

Talk to Dave Q (MyVetteDream) He's got a pretty good setup. Actually, he's also done quite a bit of LED interior work....I saw pics of his ride a while back and must say it looks SWEEEEEEEEEET! I'm sure he'll chime in on the do's & dont's for the install process!
Good luck!
Good luck!

The ones that mid america has look different than the both the ones in the post above. I dont like the ones in the post above, but I do like the LED idea. I have thought about making my own setup one of these days.

Yeah, the Mid America ones look like they don't have the center led's but just the ones making a circle. Those might actually look good. The other ones I think are available through pfyc and lapd.

try the leds from http://www.superlumination.com/ they are colored and fit your stock lamps or euro's. not too bad a deal.

Melting Slicks
I'm thinking of doing my own -- I don't like the look of the larger LEDs... Need ones with AT LEAST twice as many smaller LEDS. That would look much cooler and also less 'blocky'...

Thanks for the props Serkan!
Actually, I replaced my halogen bulbs with LED Light Towers from www.superlumination.com
I have some night shots and comparison shots with regular bulbs here as well http://imageevent.com/myvettedream/l...tho2v1.tiger_s
I actually liked the price ($20/bulb), the performance (instant on/off like the 3rd brake light) and the longevity (about 100K hrs/LED). Keep in mind, I have the Euro red/clear lenses, so I am running stock halogen bulbs for my signals. Superlumination sells load equalizers for about $6.00 each, if you decide to go with LED's for your signals, to prevent the fast blinking syndrome.
These Mid America lights should already have the resistors built in. I saw Gary from "D&R Racing" in Montclair, CA. at A&A a couple of weeks ago. He had them on his Z06. They blinked at a normal speed. Maybe you could contact him and ask him directly. I'm sure he can answer your questions. Tell him I sent you. Hope some of this helped.

I like the LED system that is Plug N Play from LAPD Altezza (sp). No installation of load equalizers to make the turn signals blink

For clarification, my signal lights are regular (#3157) amber, halogen bulbs. My tail light/brake light is the LED Light Tower. I have no issues.
The LED's lights from Mid Amer./ and Alteeza come with bulit in resistors, but I'm not crazy about the 40000 pennies I have to give them for it. Just my two cents
