OK. Just took Grond out for a shakedown run.
Initial impressions - mixed.
It's running pig rich since I restored the stock tune. Also, due to that restore, TQ Mgt is back on , redline is down to stock, shift points are stock - in other words I need a tune bad!!
But... the music!!! Oh, the music!! It is LOUD!! and even with the stock tune and the PCM going crazy, it pulls like a freight train from 3000 rpm upwards. It is not happy below 1200rpm and coming to a stop is an event. I have to shift into Neutral (A4) and brake with my left foot while keeping the rpms above 1200rpm with my right
But no codes, no leaks and the power is there. It now goes to triple figures in literally the blink of an eye. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at the HUD and saw my speed. I hauled that puppy down fast - lesson learnt!
New video to come shortly.

Stephen,
Sounds totally awesome. Your initial impressions are typical of that type of mod with no tuning. Nothing that a good tune won't take care of

I did the Blackwing 2 days after I bought the car last September, TB Bypass and Stingers a week after that, shift kit in October, header system in April this year and cam/springs/pushrods/oil pump now.
Other performance mods : Magnacor wires, Bosch Platinum +4 plugs, 160degree thermo, Predator tune (TQ delete, revised shift points, fans on lower etc.), cold air mod for Blackwing and for engine bay, smooth airbridge coupler, polished stock TB, polished and deburred MAF.
Oh and the Performance Hood Seal

Congrats. on a successful install. I have been keeping an eye on your progress good job! I would recommend nothing short of a dyno tune. Mail order tunes are nice, but an actual dyno tune will make it run the best with the most horsepower and torque. Why short change yourself. I have a tuner in CT. for you to call to have it done right. These guys are excellent.

The sound is a combination of the Blackwing, Dynatech Supermaxx headers with high flow metal matrix cats, xpipe and Borla Stingers - and of course the high lift, high duration cam
With your straight pipes, it would be way too loud (and this coming from me, who always thought it could never be too loud!!)

Glad you found the UD pulley. Mine's now safely in a box with some of the other H/C parts for installation this winter. If Grond's ever around DC give me a ring.
Turned out GREAT!!!! Congrats.
