Convertible Top Install
I bought a new convertible top and need to install it on my 2000 convertible. Has anyone attempted this and if so how long did it take and how difficult was it? Or is the best recommendation to take it to a trim shop for professional install?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Take it to a reputable shop to have the work done (it is about a 5 hour job, and mine costs $350 for the install).
90rdstr - your question is best posted in the C4 section - but as noted above, take care to have a reputable shop do the work.

Can't agree more. I wouldn't consider this a good DIY candidate. I've had two replaced on Fbodies and would never try it. I would even be very cautions about what shop you take it to. Be sure to see some of their work before you turn them loose.
