Removing side mouldings?
Is it hard to remove the side mouldings? Paint damage? Pics of removed would be nice? Thanks

sequence of events?
So you heat up the mouldings, and then floss them off with fishing
line, clean up with goof off or similar, then clay and wax?
I'd like to remove mine too. I think they look much better without them.
Thanks

it's better with 2 people.. one uses the heat gun while the other uses the fishing line to "saw" away at the double sided tape

Exactly what I did except I just used a hair dryer. I'll save the pix as I also have black... just a vert instead.
Do it. Just take your time. Getting the adhesive off is by far the worst part of the job.

That's pretty much the procedure.

We used weed eater line on Not-Mee's car last weekend, and they were off in 30 seconds. No heat gun. Then a little bug and tar remover to take off the residue from the foam tape.
