It all started very innocently...then I fell in love. What a wonderful experience! I ride her hard every day and she responds to me. But as time passed and I found out more about my love, there were things I wanted to change. It was suttle at first, nothing to alter her personality, Blackwing, Corsa, smooth bellows, high flow air bridge and several decals. But that has not satisfied me. Now I want more, Kook's, X pipes, change out the gears, vette essentials and paint the engine...I don't mind her wheels but as she ages, I may change those! I've thought, why not replace her with a new model? Would probably save me $. Just doesn't seem right, we have been through so much together and I've shape her personality. I'm becoming obsessed with what my baby wears. I guess vette fever has struck home. My wife just shakes her head and thinks it's just a phase. When she comments (negatively) on the cost of mods, I reminder her of the thousand pair of shoes or purses she has..."that's different" is always the reply. I explain that I don't understand why she needs all those things but if she wants them, fine. It's the same thing with mods. I guess the realityof finding that your husband has a mistress is hard to take. I blame it on vette fever. Anybody else have this experience?
while we're talking Vette fever - My Gf doesnt get it why I wash it, clean it every other day. She's too new to this car to know what Mods mean, and what mods I have. You guys prolly understand what I'm talking... I mean when I'm done shining her, I go to the garage 2-3 times during the night... just to look at her with the lights ON, and go.. Aaahh.. Then back to my bed. I get up for any reason, I go to the garage stand in front of her, and keep looking at her from different angles. Then I say... Aahhh.. all that hard work's worth it. You know this is true love, when you do such things. Too bad she ain't reading this, or we'd have another problem to discuss.
Hey Vette Fan, I know what you mean. This was listed on one of the other threads, but after I park and start to walk away, I must turn around five - ten times and look at her from different distances. She's gorgous. The scary thing is that when I walk by a pretty woman, I only turn around once or maybe twice!
