I installed drilled/slotted rotors with Hawk HPS pads.
Some people say they are noisy. Is this the sort of noise that they talk about?
I hear a roaring sound while driving, no squeal when stopping. The roaring sound to me like tire noise Bf Goodrich G-Force KDA. Hope it isn't front wheel bearings. No change in sound when turning in either direction.
If anyone has any information I would appreciate their input.
Thanks,
Rsty
I have got the same setup and i got a little noise when i first done the install but it went away when the zinc coating got wore off of the rotors and the hps pads got broke in now there is no noise at all and it will stop on a dime now.

I'm sure I have over 500 miles on them. I hadn't notice the sound before because I had Borlas on and chnaged over to ZO6 Ti..which makes it quieter and I can hear the noise now. Hopefully it's only the nature of the beast, that I can live with..just don't want an wheel bearing problems without knowing it's happening.
Thanks for your input.
