i was driving home from work today and didn't get waved by a guy in a convertible w/ the super plush floor mats w/ the nice little logo on them, then my column locked
Personally, I prefer the C5 emblem. However, to each his own. And, for that matter, we all enjoy modifying our cars to express a certain level of uniqueness, as well as, actually upgrade and enhance performance and esthetics. So, why not add custom "badging" that suits your taste? Enjoy.

Obviously you can do what you want to your car. But, adding different model year parts is like adding different manufacture's parts. As someone already pointed out, do you really want to start seeing Corvettes with Mustang emblems on them? To each his own but not on my Vette.

So with what you just said, are you saying that the hundreds of people that are on here with ZO6 wheels, and C6 wheels on their Coupes and Verts should not have those wheels?

Yes, I would never do it, mainly because model specific wheels are what identifies that body style to certain years. But again, to each his own, it is your car. You can paint your car pink with different colored polka dots if that spins your prop.
So we should not cross-gen our cars, nor put badges other than the originals. So therefore, we should not put C6 wheels on our C5's, or make a standard FRC into a ZO6 replica, OR put ZO6 wheels on a non ZO6, I am getting the hang of this! Whoo hoo!
Also, never put fake brake duct scoops and NEVER-EVER lambo doors,
But......Fake, chrome, roll bars or "hoops" are perfectly ok....
I have to agree with 99.9% of the forum, WHY. I HATE when people put emblems on there car when it isnt the car. You might fool normal people, but the smart one's will just look at it and laugh. If you like them that much, buy a C6.
If I want a C6 emblem, I'd get a C6. Sorry but that's just me. However, when it comes to accesories i.e. rims, shift ****,brake handle, rear brake ducts- that's different.
Each to their own, but I don't understand it either. Not for me, but its your car, do with it as you please.
You will have to search long and hard to find anyone putting a C5 emblem on a C6.
Or a C5 owner with a C4 badge on his car.
When you see someone putting Z06 emblems on a non Z06 C5, or C6 emblem on a C5 or a C5 emblem on a C4, my first impression tends to be "wannabe".
However, with the classic Vettes..... I have seen people put emblems from those cars onto their C6s. This is one example where a C6 owner put an emblem from the Grand Sport http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...46&forum_id=74
And take a look at this where the owner is an admirer of, and pays homage to the Stingray.
