Lambo Doors - Funny Dyno Story - Pictures
This first one is Lambo doors i saw at a meet In Leavenworth WA. Pretty cool wish i had better pic. The guy put them on himself. Guess it was quite a job. Any more of you with Lambo's out there??
The second one is portable Dyno. This guy getting ready to sell a '58 i think, wanted a dyno. There were a lot of people standing around in front of the truck. When the guy got him all hooked up, he asked the people standing in front of the car to move....Should have seen the look on the Drivers face.....
Another funny story...guy at same show was getting ready to leave...he didn't like bra's but was taping his whole front end above the headlights.......said when he first started doing it he had a strange experience.....was hitting about 140MPH and the front end started getting a little light....let off and tried it again...same thing.....stopped took a look at the tape....it was curling up because he overlapped it the wrong way and wind was pulling the edges up....moral....if ya going to put as roof on ya Vette put the shingles the right way...

Not on a C5..looks like wings...The doors cannot go completely vertical like a lambo due to the design of the doors. The door panels will hit the windshield on the way up.

when it comes down to lambo doors, it just goes to personal opinions. getting lambo doors can be tricky, though. Almost all of the manufacturers out there have "butterfly doors" that open out more towards the outside and only go up about 55-60 degrees. When looking at lambo doors websites, its obvious that they never take pictures directly from the side of the car.
Take a look at my sig and youll see what i did to mine in order to make it go almost fully vertical.

I would get them but for the outrageous cost of 2 hinges with 2 or 4 struts.

Poser to what?? If you like it and its your car then do what you want. You don't see me getting upset towards all the guys and gals who put Z06 screens, red fuel rail covers or non functional rear brake ducts on.
