I was kidding of course.

Like I said, dates can't complain about getting in and out of it! They could fall right in

Holloween avatar.

And why should it be locked? I asked a serious question in post # 56 - is there any place that does custom embroidery?

I am looking for a custom lettering in a certain colour embroidered into the mats. Oh, and it can't be stratospheric prices - only about Lloyd's prices or thereabouts.

Anyone? GB?

It looks like Car Motorsports (supporting Vendor) will do custom text embroidery for a $30 upcharge. The price is a bit higher than Lloyd's but as I understand it the quality is better.

It would probably be worth giving them a shout and seeing if they can do what you want.

Yes, CAR Motorsports, offers the highest quality C5 Floor Mats and Cargo Area Mats available. We feature Dupont Tuflin Yarn in the construction of our floor mats, along with a pattented double tuffed pattened heel area construction. The embroidery work features German Madeira Thread and you may customize your logo location, size and color. We offer 300 thread color choices. These mats are a bargain at this level of customization. Ask for some of the other forum members to post pictures of their CAR Motorsports Mats. You should get some prompt replies. I know that forum member Joe Carlozo posted some a week or two ago on another thread. His car was the Covette Fever feature car last April with a full compliment of CAR Motorsports embroidered accessories. The links below should help as well. Enjoy.

Thank you for your detailed response. While this thread was originally started as a parody thread, I am looking for new floor mats with custom lettering in a custom font on them - black mats with scarlet lettering.

My preference is a combination of the Tolkien font (public domain) and Oxford font (which I purchased from Linotype) with a custom phrase.

I can send you a photoshop sample of what I want and the Truetype fonts as well. I will send you a PM to follow up this post.

Thanks

EG

EG,

Take a look at what Dash Covers can supply (you've seen mine and the S/O at the CI).

You can get them 'custom' to match any color combo you desire.
