With just bolt ons it seems that 400hp is hard to get (most cars with all the bolt ons fall in the 390-400 range) I have longtubes, Blackwing and tuning and I dynoed at 386/378 I was thinking of doing rockers and springs which should get me well into the 39x HP range but I think you will have to do a cam to get 400+ HP (alot of cammed cars with bolt ons see the 420HP mark) Good Luck

My highly calibrated SOTP did feal very close to it too, and my car with more bolt ons and a small cam make just @ 400 now to the rollers, but it pulls much harder. IMO I would not get hung up on the dyno, but use it as a tool to measure your gains. I dyno with airfilter, normal pressure in the tires and pump gas, just like I run at the track you know???

CAM it, after you have a CAI, and some LTs and you will be very happy even with a small cam in the 224 range and 114.

02 w/ a Halltech Stinger, Cold Air Mod, WCC Tru-X Pipe, & Corsa Pace Car Mufflers. I haven't taken it to the track or anything like that yet. I'd like to run it in the 1/4 sometime soon.

Default Code Alert

A minor mis-shift and threw a code. "To lean bank 1". Any suggestions. I am running a modified predator tune, been fine for a year. Should I clear it and forget about it or make an adjustment. Thanks for the assist.

hmmmm well a cam will do it for sure, but you are leaving some HP and some great low end torq with out LTS, even though you are flowing bettter sith X pipe... I waited on LTs too long hoing seat time would make me better at the track, well respectable in comparison to our forum brothers. BEst I could do was a 12.3 @ 115 with vararam, hurts short throw and BFG DRs. Warning once you start big mods (LTs a big mod???) it gets hard to stop

IMO some LTs would getyou close and the way they wake up the cr as far as the sound and feal would be a great improvement and give you some more perma grin. A cam is more work, less expesive, but you will need a tune for sure. If you go with a small cam, you may not get the peak HP but it will pull like a train on the street. I went with a TR 224 227 114 as I was on the FI path... loved the CAM so much, that I jumped ship and am going with a bigger cam and some worked heads.

Where are you located brother? We could meet up and you can drive my car as it is right @ 400, with a small cam and LTs and it would give you an idea about how LTs sound and what a car feals like with a small cam
