This may not be earth shattering, but I have had a ratteling noise all week in the interior that has been driving me nuts. I couldn't tell if was coming from the glovebox, glass roof, or passenger seat. It turns out, it was the passenger side seat belt tapping against the door. Pulling it out and letting it back in tightened it enough to eliminate the noise. I just wanted to pass this along.

Had the same thing in my car...thought it was going to drive me until I figured out what it was. Now I will need to find another excuse for the state of my mental health!
All my rattles went away when I put on my B&B Bullets...LOL...seriously though, I've found several rattles in my car now...here are a few:
- passenger seat belt buckle - click it into place when nobody is riding along
- sun visor mirror rattling against the roof
- rear-view mirror loose
- plastic lens covers in my rear view mirror rattling
- a rock in my gas tank shield tray - this one drove me nuts until I accidentally discovered it
- adhesive wheel weights mounted on the inside of my wheels - hanging by a thread and banging around at low speeds

My first C5 had it and this one does to .
So I just buckle up the passengers seat for the ghost rider and all is well
Instead of buckling up for a ghost rider, I put a small rectangle of thin mouse-pad like material there on the plastic door sill. It matches the color of the trim so you don't really see it, and because it's soft there's no rattling sound when it hits.
I have the exact same problem, actually on mine the belt latch lays over to the right naturally and rests on the red door safety reflector. In some conditions it rattles. Drove me crazy, I had to work the belt to remove some of its natural tendency to lean towards to outside and rest against the plastic lens.
Good to know - thanks for sharing - rattling noises drive me nuts. I think I am going to add an amp, sub and all new speakers so I can elminate the rattles - huh, what.........
