low coolant warning
Every so often the low coolant warning shows up on my 98 Corvette. The instruments show that everything is OK, have checked the coolant level and it too is alright. Is this just a clitch in the computer or is it something I need to check into. Dosen't do it all the time but is annoying.

If you don't want to change the sensor, just unplug it and the light will go out. Just keep an eye on the coolant if you do.

This happened when my wife was driving it (never when I was driving it), what we deduced was she was parking on incline (at work) and light would be on becuase the level was below the sensor due to the incline. It would go out when she got on the road, then she would stop at the dealer (this happened a couple days in a row) and the mechs would take a quick look and say nuthin was wrong.
Don't know if that was the actual problem or not, but it has not returned (she stopped parking in that area).
