Service Column Lock

Lastnight I started my vette while at my buddys house and it said service column lock. It would die every time I started to move. I just installed a K harness about a month ago. It must of went bad. I hooked it up back to stock and it was fine then. My question is should I buy another K harness or just get the CLB? I didn't know which would be better. The k harness didn't seem to be worth a crap. Thanks

If you have an MN6, install the CLB ASAP. Can't tell you what to do about the K-harness.

I suppose it's possible - in the same way that eating a piece of bad meat can make you very sick. It may happen, but not nearly often enough to avoid doing it. There are more than enough CLB success stories on this board to warrant its use. I suggest installing it.

What is the best brand of CLB to get and from where? I noticed that there are differant kinds.

I bought and installed mine over a year ago, so I'm afraid I can't remember where I bought it, although I know it was online. Corvettes of Houston is a reputable shop and sells it. Here's a link for ya:
