Hey silverstreak01, please explain. Curious how you have this setup. I would like to have a permanent setup that doesn't require me to open the hood and disconnect everytime I wanna cruise. Any pics?
I've done the same set up. There is a 1ft pigtail adapter w/ the BT that installs to the battery terminals. The difficult part was slipping the black and red covers back over the cable ends. The other end of the pigtail had a water resistant plug, used when the BT is disconnected. The pigtail fits neatly between the battery and fuse relay ctr and is out of sight. You do need to pop the hood to connect/disconnect though. Pretty simple and no accidental disconnects. I place a towel on the fender to keep the BT lead from marring the finish. (Recovering ****-retentive )

I see. I was hoping someone had a solid homegrown solution to offer up that would not require you to open up the hood to disconnect. A true plug and play BT setup.
