Default The Grond Chronicles : The Last Mod Party, ere the end....

<update> lots of pics from today from post #36 onwards

All,

I will be having the last of my "Mod Parties", before I move to Florida.

When? This coming Monday & Tuesday December 26th/27th 2005 (2 days)
Start time: 12noon.
Location: East Lyme, Connecticut (South East Shoreline close to the casinos)
PM me for the address & phone number if you need it

Mods : 1> Completely ripping the front of my LS1 down for the last time before it is sold to it's new owner. This is to fix a "walking cam retainer" that appears to have worked loose after the monster cam install this past July. So if you want to see a naked LS1, now is your chance.

Mods : 2> Change the rear coilover springs and set the car at it's final ride height. New wheels and tires are in-house and waiting for final alignment.

I also have about 40 other mods (big and small) to install but I will probably tackle them after my migration south.

I bought a 175,000BTU space heater so the garage will be nice and toasty - but it will be somewhat tight quarters because although it's a 2 car garage, the garage door will be closed.

So, if you don't mind the 'bonding' thing, come one and come all. All good and true souls are very welcome. Outside will be cold be we will be warm in the garage.

So far Connecticut and SGreen said they will come over and Chucks88 siad he might drop in. Bill (Curlee), hope you can come over after work to make sure your new engine is buttoned up tight

Please reply in the thread if you can make it.

Merry Christmas!!

Stephen

I allready told you i'd lower it for you!! Want me to fix your oil pressure sensor at the same time?

Just bring it over, it won't take too long. Or I can come over there and give you a hand if need be.

Bill, if you have a monster torque wrench that goes to 150-200 or 250 ftlbs that would be good. The el cheapo one I have only goes to 100 ftlbs. Other than that, I can't think of anything else except bring yourself
