Nose & Hatch emblems?

Nose & Hatch emblems?
What is the difference between the two? I have seen the nose emblem go for $20 more that the hatch emblem. Is there any reason for that? Is one bigger? Are they made from the same materials? Etc? Any information would be appreciated. I did a search and stopped looking after 1 hour of trying to answer my own questions without being a bother to anybody.
Thank you.

Front emblem has 2 locator dowels - rear has none. Both the same size

They are the same material but the nose emblem has two pins or posts that mate up with locating holes on the nose. It is then simply held on with two sided tape. I believe that the nose piece has a slight radius to it. The rear emblem is held in place with two sided tape and no pins.

Okay thank you both for the speedy response. I am trying to figure out which one I am going to get. Has anybody bought the mirror inserts that they sell on ebay? They look like this:
I have a secret place on my Impala for that emblem. How far apart are those pegs?
Thanks,

Also, the pegs on the front emblems are not symmetrical about the center of the emblem. I discovered this while making custom C5 exhaust plates a few years ago. The emblems are identical except for the posts. I used them interchangeably by clipping the posts off the back of the front emblems.

My twisted mind has been coming up with new ideas to set my 1996 Impala apart from others.
I have already painted it Black with Green Pearl.
It flip-flops between black and green depending on where the sun and the view are in relation to the car.
So to end a long story abruptly... I need to know about those emblems. And I need your help. Besides my Impala has a slightly different LT1. These emblems will add a few more horses for my 4200lbs beast.
