Patch cord driving me nuts! help!
I have a passport 8500 i bought one of thoses patch cords that slip into your rearview mirror.It was fine till last week.Now the two medal ends that slip out wont stay in 
Has this happened to anyone? Help i now have the phone cord into the lighter going on and its driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!

I moved my detector a little closer to the mirror for some slack and after inserting the prongs I secured them with a small piece of electrical tape.
