Further proof at how under-developed LSX suppliers and vendors are. Every roller rocker I have ever used on MKIV or V Big Blocks was stamped w/ ratio. Hell, remember I got a new GM head (PRC stage 2.5) w/ casting defect so bad coolant ran past the freeze plug. It was on driver's side of course, so I'm right there with you. If you have time, give me a shout as you roll through Macon Ga on your way to O-town.

Regards,
Jay Lee

Hey Stephen, glad to see you got the noise figured out at least....
I'm really sorry to see that it was the pistons smacking the valves! Are you just going back with stock heads for now?

But, i do agree with Micah that you should be down here for the Head Cam install!

If you guys can wait until I get down at the end of Feb, great. But I don't think Micah can wait that long

EG - question from an engineering ignoramus - how come the exhaust valves hit and not the intake? Is there a different lift or ration or whatever from one to the other? Or?

So they are up for sale. That ratio is way too much for the monster cam I currently have (234/240 598/608 114LSA) but they would net nice gains with a smaller cam or stock cam.

not a good thing. all of them mucked up hey now you have a good reason for all new mods

.598 lift on the intake - .608 lift on the exhaust
With the additional ratio from the Roller Rockers, P/V on the exhaust was non existent.

It's all good. It gave me an excuse to pull the heads and good practice for the LS2 build-out

I get the whole Cruise In thing, BUT....isn't it bad to put all those miles on your vette, for those who live far away, or do people trailer their vettes there? I always thought that people try NOT to put too many miles on their beloved vehicles!!!

Miles?! i'm at 128,000 and just barely broken in...what's the point of owning a car that you can't drive long distances.

There was a guy at the track this weekend with a Ferrari 612, he had just driven it all the way from Seattle, Washington to Daytona beach, Florida just for the race. yes that's right, he drove!
