LS7 flywheel vs. LS2 flywheel

What is the difference between the LS7 flywheel and the LS2 flywheel. Most people suggest using the LS7 clutch and pressure plate with the Ls2 flywheel, why is this? Im going to be replacing my stock c5 clutch which is shot and this seems to be one of the best setups suggested on the forum.

Hi there,
The LS7 and LS2 flywheel are the same. The later flywheel has more surface area to match the larger surface area of the clutch.
