Default The Grond Chronicles : Electro-Luminescence [Dialup: unimaginable woe]

UPDATE : See post 106 for pictures of NEW mods

Started by dissembling my console and dashboard.

This was in order to do several things; replace the fascia of my AVIC-N2, mod said fascia, install my new garage door opener in my centre console (the one that is there now is for my old house in CT), install my Elite Engineering candy-apple red powder coated brake pedal (bling-bling), repair my dual zone HVAC, tidy up my stereo wiring, wire in my new boost and fuel pressure gauges - and last but certainly not least - install new electro-luminescence white faced gauges.

So.... with these few tasks in hand, here are the pics.

EG

Of course, my HVAC is totally different from all of the others posted. What a surprise.

Still: I soldiered on and soldered all the surface mounted resistors nonetheless.

Success!! Works like new!!

And onto other mods

New fascia for AVIC-N2.

And a little mod. Guess what it is for.....

And now to the Main Event (for today)

Impatient pups!

Just kidding!

Getting ready for the real Main Event...

And an unnamed Forum member, admirer and friend made this unique top-bag for me. I am deeply, deeply humbled....

I want a set but they don't make them for Canadian cars or cars with the 300mph speedometer

EG is that another cam that I see in that last pic? Are you installing the new 412 and the SC same time?

Although I don't think the white gauges would mesh well with the plans I have for my cluster...that looks pretty sweet!

i'll send you the bill for 'tech support' on cluster removal , i've never installed that type, i've seen the ones that go over the stockers, used to pull the needles when doing Mustangs , pita to get back on correctly

Make sure you and Chris pack your Flintstones lunchboxes for when i drive down to 'school' ya on the motor swap
