Well, if we're rounding up the Fairway Green gang, I'll join the club.

A bit of trivia about this color, FWIW. Fairway Green is the rarest production color for the C5 (Aztec Gold was not a production color) and is also the rarest Green for any generation of Corvette, according to the Corvette Black Book.

Really? I always thought Aztec was the rarest. How would one order it if it was not production?

According to the Corvette Action Center in '98 they made 12 coupes in aztec gold and 3 convertibles, lower than that they made 12 in Navy Blue and 2 convertibles. My guess for some reason these 2 colors weren't appealing on the line and they discontinued it or? I remember reading somewhere the gold was tough on the front bumper to get the color the same as the rest of the car because of the flex additive?
Here is a link with production numbers for '98:

Aztec Gold and Navy Blue were not production colors, you couldn't order either one. Those colors were experimental and were sold as used cars to dealers or other "insiders." GM did bring the Navy Blue color back later, but total output still exceeded that of the FGs.

Bought my first Corvette in September and guess what color?

6spd, black interior, and under 50k miles.

This old timer remembers back in the 1970's and late 60's when green was a very popular color, in general. And here's a bit of trivia for you: in 1967, the #1 color for Corvettes was Goodwood Green, and it still looks good today, by golly.

Great looking car. Anyone know where I can get those kind of headlights?

I PMed you with this:
Those are Sun Guns, and were sold thru JW Motoring (a forum vendor). There weren't many sets sold before production came to a halt. You might PM him (Jonathan at JW) to see if you can still get a set. Cost was around $850 at that time. Great light output, too.

I LOVE the front lip, side skirts, and rear flares on your car. Any more pictures?

I love this color on the C5- when I see them, it evokes the word "class" in my head.

A very classic sports car color in general, but obviously most prevalent on British cars (British racing green).

I'm not sure why green is not more readily chosen, when available. I'm partial to pretty much ANY green colored cars, maybe because you don't see that many around. My first new car was a 1976 Triumph TR-7 in British Racing Green.
