That is the popular or common usage. The phrase ' mihi in odi est (literally translated as “to me in a condition of dislike or hatred is”) ' is more accurate.

In other words - Dialup users will hate me forever if they click this thread.

Etymology is one of my many hobbies...

Hang on to all those spare parts (debris as you call them) that you find in the block and oil pan.

You never know, one day you might need them to fix another engine.

O.K. ..... maybe not.

No need. New crank comes with a reluctor wheel. LS1/6/2 are identical.

This noun, with the sense “boredom,” was borrowed into English in the 18th century, perhaps filling a need in polite, cultivated society.
Now Stephen, isn't cutting and pasting from dictionary.com kinda like cheating for you?

Nope - I quoted it

This is a Quote. Anything in this box signifies that I am "quoting" from another source.

Default Own a piece of Grond

Hey Stephen..... How much for the washer?

Sorry bro...that's kinda what I'm good at doing..helping my peeps out during their frustrated stages by making them laugh a little.

I've learned quite a bit from your chronicles and really hope that you make a dvd outa this some day as others have mentioned.

Best of luck with the project and look forward to seeing more.

[QUOTE=EnglandGreen]
Not detonation. Hit rev limiter under 12lb of boost and PCM pulled fuel.
QUOTE]

As I said, I think what you will find is that the ring lands on those two pistons collasped from extremely high cylinder pressures created by detonation. Detonation occurred from the lean condition created when the Rev Limiter momentarily shut off the fuel. With the rings unable to seal properly on those two cylinders, the continuing combustion process eroded the pistons as it escaped past them into the crankcase.

No it doesn't. It's a 6 bolt main, versus the normal 2 bolt main or "hi po" 4 bolt mains in SB & BB Chevys.
